Vladislav Glinberg

CEO and Founding Partner 

           In 2014 Vladislav established City Capital private equity fund. Within the next 6 years City Capital created a portfolio of growing projects, that was successfully sold in 2020.

           In 2020 Vladislav launched a new ‘Start Invest’, aimed at participating in the early stage investments in the potential leaders in the respective industries. Start Invest has acquired some of the ex-City Capital projects and continues expanding its project portfolio.

      Since its inception in 2008 until 2014 Vladislav headed Leanvest Group as asset management and investment firm, managing a leading portfolio of companies in such industries, as a construction and real estate development, food and others. From 2002 to 2008 Vladislav worked in McKinsey & Company, leading projects for strategy development and operational improvements for the companies in the retail, metals and mining oil and gas industry.

         In 2006 Mr Glinberg worked in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) in Vale, a world leading mining company, creating strategic forecast system.

      Before joining McKinsey, Vladislav worked in the American charitable organization Joint Distribution Committee, and in the tax department of PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Vladislav Glinberg graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the Lomonosov Moscow State University (Bachelor and Master of Economics degrees) and INSEAD business school (MBA degree with honors).
